Welcome to Linsday Elementary School!

Here at Linsday we believe in our students' abilities to excel academically, socially and emotionally. We believe all children can and will grow under our care! From the front office to the grounds to the classrooms, we believe it is our responsibility to foster the love of learning and a positive self-esteem.

Linsday is a place where children are encouraged to reach their fullest potential through high expectations for all. We follow the State of Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations in all content areas such as math, reading, writing, science and social studies. Twice per month our Counselor addresses those skills necessary to be productive members of society through various community lessons. Examples include respecting yourself, respecting others, and friendship skills.

As a result of our community commitment to schools, as evidenced by the passing of the Bond in 2006, we serve in a beautifully renovated building. We are most thankful for this gift and believe it provides the professional and educational environment our Linsday students deserve. We are pleased to serve along-side our Linsday families and take great pride in being a piece of this community.

2011/2012 School Year 

• Our school day begins PROMPTLY at 8:15 AM.   
• No students are allowed in the building before 7:50 AM as supervision is not available.  
• Every student will have the opportunity to have breakfast free of charge here at the school thanks to our Universal Breakfast program!!!  
  • Breakfast will be served in the student's classroom at 8:05 AM. 
  • To receive breakfast, you must be in your classroom before 8:15AM.  
• Our school day ends at 3:15PM.
