About UsLinsday Elementary School proudly serves approximately 400 children from Young Fives through Fifth grade, including all day kindergarten. Math, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts are our core curriculum. Art, Spanish, Physical Education, Media, and Computer classes accentuate the learning experience weekly. We offer both general education and special education services. In addition, counseling, speech, physical therapy, occupational therapy and social work services are provided at all grade levels for those who qualify. The Crossroads Program for emotionally impaired students in grades kindergarten through fifth grades is also housed at Linsday. Children grow academically as they learn both independence and socially appropriate behavioral strategies. The staff at Linsday Elementary School is commitment to children. We believe and understand we are a part of the Linsday Community. We care deeply for the achievement, growth, and overall development of all children. All teachers at Linsday are Highly Qualified in accordance to State of Michigan requirements. We also have wonderful parent involvement opportunities through the Linsday Bobcat Coffee Club and the Parent Advisory Committee which meet monthly. We invite parents to join us for activity nights, parent – teacher conferences, and many volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Please see the calendar page for dates and times. |
