Welcome to Mrs. Fraser's Class!

Our spelling list for next week is: funnier, families, pennies, worried, replied, varied, marries, carries, easily, silliest, jumpier, emptier, merrier, cries, cozily, sorriest, prettily, lazier, happiest, dizziest, caring, tasting, skipped, handily, factories, and social.

We are about to finish Chapter 5 in Social Studies.  The test will be coming up soon.  Look for the study guide to come home with your child next week.  In Math, we are finishing up Unit 5.  The students really need to concentrate on memorizing their multiplication facts.  Possessives are the current topic in grammar.  We are learning that if you add an apostrophe and an "s" to the end of the word (or just an apostrophe if the word already has an "s") you are showing possession. 

We have had a good start to the New Year in our classroom!
