Notes from Mrs. Howard’s Third Grade
November Update

Math:  Some parents have been trained to lead math games with our students.  We will play games twice this month.    Please look for math flashcards and a math log to come home soon. 

Science:  We are finishing the Light and Sound Kit.  We will soon be starting Organisms have Character (plants and animals).   

Reading:   20 minutes of daily reading at home, in addition to their required book in their reading envelope.  Reading envelopes need to be signed and returned every day. This is part of their reading grade.

Social Studies:  We will continue to learn about Michigan and the United States.

Items needed for class:  New white board markers for daily use in math. Please make sure your child has one.
